  45. DESCRIPTION
  46.  
  47.     AmiTCPHelper is a button-based front end for Internet
  48.     operations. You can use it to link up, link down, read and
  49.     send mail, FTP, browse the Web and use Gopher. In addition to
  50.     these features, you can also use Ping and Finger and
  51.     synchronise your computer's clock to another machine.
  52.     AmiTCPHelper also lets you select between different
  53.     newsgroups and also lets you edit important files without you
  54.     having to go looking for them (ie. your dialscript,
  55.     datestamp, newsgroups, aliases, etc.). AmiTCPHelper is
  56.     very configurable letting you set its window position and what
  57.     programs you want to use for all its features.

  59. NEW FEATURES

  61.     New to version 1.09 are the following features:
  62.  
  63.     Added startnet script editing in the Edit menu.
  64.     Added IRC and Prefs buttons to the interface which has been
  65.     jiggled to fit the new buttons in without requiring more
  66.     space. The Prefs button doesn't work at the mo, but will
  67.     eventually let you edit TCP-related ENV variables and the
  68.     co-ordinates and size of the windows that AmiTCPHelper opens
  69.     amongst other things.

  71.     The Get News button now works! Hurrah!

  73.     Multiple mail folders. If you have more than one mail
  74.     folder, AmiTCPHelper asks which one you wish to enter.

  76. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

  78.     The only special requirement I can think of is the fact that you
  79.          really need AmiTCP to use this tool, but just so you know, it
  80.          has been tested on a PAL Amiga 3000T which PicassoII, 2MB Chip,
  81.          16MB Fast, blah, blah...

  86.     version is for people who don't have CanDo.library v 3.6 the
  87.     other is for people who do have it (if you already have the

  108.     AmiTCPHelper was written (using CanDo) for use with Demon
  109.     Internet Services dialup account facility but with a bit of
  110.     tweaking it should work with any account provider. Please

  112.     different account provider's setup.
